The worst service
It was the worst service in all respects. It was my mistake that I went in.
The idea was to go in and get out after a quick suggestion. The bill that was sent to my insurance provider was the worst. I told them not to use my mobile number and they keep using the same.
everytime, I open the phone, it says nothing but a balance of $810.32. Please know that I will dispute the amount and will never be paid.

It said 2 hours and I have been here for 4 hours. Most staff are uncaring and have no compassion! They did not even call me back for diagnostic testing or blood work. Unfortunately Im stuck here!!
By the time I go to another location Ill have to start my wait time over again!
The Triage nurse Lexy checked me in by asking me a few questions then told me to go have a seat. She didnt even ask me why Im here.

ER Department treated me as if I did not Exist. They turned a deaf ear to me. I came in on the ambulance, screaming and hollering my guts out only because my guts were out.
On January 8, 2025, I was in the hospital laying on the gurney in the hallway screaming my guts out. My stomach was on fire. It was as if I had spikes sticking me in my stomach. I was screaming, hollering and crying. I apparently got there between 3:15 PM and maybe 3:35PM.
My daughters were with me. I was left in the hallway, screaming and hollering, I was screaming and hollering with the most excruciating pain that you could ever imagine.
The hospital staff act as if I did not exist. I know they have other patients; but I was screaming and hollering and screaming and hollering so much that people came out of their rooms and asked whats wrong and can they do anything for me.
People opened their door and ask my name and can they pray for me and ask why couldnt they take care of me. It was disgusting. I did not have anybody attend to me until my daughter went and talked to someone and let them know what she thought about them and how badly they do people like me. She gave them the 411 on discrimination of older women and other factors.
So it wasnt until 6:51PM, someone finally gave me Tylenol. But Tylenol was not my answer. I needed to have emergency surgery. They did not know that or cared.
Until my daughter let them know what she thought of them, they finally gave me attention. I mean, I was screaming like I had fire inside of me and needles, pins and spikes constantly sticking me. I screamed the whole way from home to Virtua Health Hospital.
I screamed for hours after arriving to the hospital. At the emergency department and I did not stop screaming until a few minutes before 7:00; apparently I passed out on them because I was tired from screaming.
*** I know that they wanted me to die. ***
My stomach was on fire and spiking me at the same time. I was screaming and people were asking, Why arent they helping you and other people opened their door to pray for me. Nobody else was screaming and hollering but me. Shame on them. Other people said it gave them chills to know that they were doing nothing for me. The ER department ignored me totally.
***Were they waiting for me to die?*** I am not nursing home material yet. God was with me
Finally I was taken to XRAY.

My two daughters are still devastated from this horrible incident. For me every night I get chills from it and this happened (January 8, 2025).

Youre not passionate in any way shape or form. Maybe you guys should go and work in the nursing homes where people are purposely mistreated.
You were very selective that night. Yes you, selected not to hear my crying and screaming. I was totally exhausted from screaming and crying and the pain exhaustion and crying and more screaming.
My two girls were there with me that horrible afternoon-night and are still devastated by the way their mother was being treated. Maybe one day this will happen to you. I was treated like an animal and yet I was there for help, only begging for your help. Yet you put me through such a horror. It was a nightmare, and I havent had one night sleep since that day of thinking about what you did to me. Not to mention my daughters are still devastated by it.

I spent 6 hours in the Emergency Room before I was admitted. I spent 4 days and they never changed my bedding.
I had to make my own bed. When I asked for clean sheets & bedding, I left the room & returned to find that my cash was stolen from my wallet which was in my purse in the drawer. When I asked to take a shower, I was informed they had no towels. There was no hot water in the sink bathroom unless you ran the water for 25 minutes.
When I pushed the Emergency button, no one would answer or respond. This was like a Third World hospital.
User's recommendation: Don't go to this hospital. Go to Cooper or Jefferson Cherry.Hill., or possibly Virtua Voorhees. It was like being in a ghetto with deplorable service.

klingenstein, who, I believe, is a very capable surgeon, however his office staff leaves much to be desired. About a week after surgery I started having severe pain at the site of the incision. I called the surgeons office three times over two days and my physical therapist made two calls on my behalf because she witnessed the intensity of my pain during PT. She suggested I go to the emergency room if continued.
I didnt get a response from the doctors office for 6 days. At that point, the pain had diminished. The surgeon never offered a reason for the pain.
The second issue with his office I am going through currently is I have had to cancel two dental appointments because my dentist wont work on my teeth without a medical clearance from my surgeon indicating that I dont need antibiotics.
My dentists office has sent two requests for the clearance and to date they have not responded. This is completely unacceptable in any field, let alone a medical facility.

Not a really great experience
If you would have asked me two years ago when my daughter was there I would have praised and praised our experience. Recently she was admitted there yesterday it was horrible she was there since 2 pm.
They ordered a bunch of tests we never really found out what was going on until the night nurse who was wonderful came in and told us she was being admitted and thought we knew. So once we found that out it took hours just for someone to come and get her to go to her floor. Once there again the PA is telling us things we hadnt even heard of that apparently were on the testing. The Tech on the floor was great!
But so lacking and we truly had no idea what was happening.
She finally got to her room at 1 am. And never received food until 2 am I was very disappointed in our experience.

My only issue is with the after. Someone did try to call me the day after surgery - but only once.
I did not answer the phone because I was sleeping which I believe most would be doing within 24 hours of surgery. The really could try to call more than once to check up on the patient.

I had an appointment with my family doctor in Hammonton, NJ, on 9/16/24. She did not fill my medications, so I'm using expired ones.
I didn't realize it until later on. I believe she became somewhat flustered because I told her that my other Virtua doctor expressed concern about a medication that I'm taking.
I received a flu vaccine and have been sick ever since. I will be looking for a different doctor.

I went to Virtua Health and Wellness in Cherry Hill, NJ on 09/05/2024 for an MRI of the breast.
Sue was not very comforting. I don't know if she was having a bad day or what, but her demeanor was as if I was bothering her. I was very nervous having this test done and she did not make me feel any better.
If I need to have this test again, I certainly will not be going back to this location.

To management - Just try to make an appointment with radiology. If you want to have a call center for appointments then man it appropriately so patients can get through. Your system makes me never want to be treated by your doctors.

My surgical experience at Virtua Surgery Center was fine. However, my surgeon acted annoyed and frustrated when I was not progressing according to his plan.
I continued to have back pain and was unable to perform the duties required in my nursing job. After 90 days ( I did many weeks of PT and was no longer on narcotics etc ) he told me to see my PCP and his office refused to complete my disability forms. My PCP is furious.
I am still in PT and seeing chiropractor but my disability is being denied bc his office told me I dont need to come back . Very frustrating and no income and still in pain.

I've called several times, went through the prompts, for several days to not even get an answer. So, I drive there, park a quarter mile away, go to radiology and wait 10-15 mins only to be told they can't make me an appointment.
Something is definitely wrong with your setup.
Top management should call the number and see what I went through. Still, I have no appointment.

Horrible Service -Long Wait Time
Was referred by Virtua Orthopedic Express to Virtua Radiology for MRI. I called to make the appointment and was on hold for so long I drove 20 minutes out of my way to the facility.
I only wanted to make an appointment. (BYW I was still on hold) When I arrived, security advised they do not make in-person appointments and I would need to call. When I shared I was currently on hold, and had been holding for the last 30 minutes, he said thats nothing, some people wait way longer than that.
As of right now Im about to hit 60 minutes! I only want to schedule an appointment.
And because the referring office told me I had to select a facility before I left my appointment, I cant change the imaging facility on my pre-approval request.
The word Virtua means in essence is not there.
They sure named this business correct because no one seems to be there!! Just horrible.

Required due to leg swelling post procedure.
Took all day to unravel. Navigator very helpful, office staff arranged in stovepipe responsibility, hence no one is in charge, Prescription never sent to pharmacy till next day, no reason for delay provided,
